I've searched. I can't find any current info. Child seat laws frequently change, old models that used to fit stop being made or go out of business all together (e.g. Recaro), and new models come on to the market so forgive me if this question has already been posted but i can't find any conclusive answers that aren't from a post 5-10 years ago. It's really a good example of a question that should be addressed every 2-3 years.

I just bought a 2000 CS vert, 64k miles on it, IMS, RMS, clutch being done on Tuesday at Fifth Gear in Dallas. PPI came back cherry. Hope to have it back home in Louisiana by next Friday, Saturday at the latest. Here's my question:

I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old. I need a booster for my 4 year old and a forward facing 5 point harness for my 2 year old. What's out there that fits and is sold in the US? Thanks in advance. Here's a pic of the dream I've been having for three years that I finally made a reality.

 

I just put 2 dionos in my car, they fit perfect. They are the slimmest car seats. I am 6 ft and the 2 yr has enough leg room and the 4 yr old has enough on the passenger side. My wife is 5'6.

 

what were the specific models for the dionos?

 

I know this doesn't 100% address the OP but since info is so limited (esp for cabs) and gets stale quickly I wanted to add my input.
