996 - Missing Option Woes

First post here. Hello everyone

I recently purchased a 996 from a well known auction/bid site. Car has a clean title, clean Carfax and with some nice options. I bought it from from a small dealer. The car was reasonable value for the current market, but more importantly had the 220 / LSD factory option, which was one of the main reasons i went for this car. Admittedly, like quite a few who buy from these auction sites, I never get to view the car nor have time to arrange a PPI,.so yes I am one of those people.

Anyway, I recently got the car home, only to discover the transmission is not the original one and after some checks and more research, its not even an LSD transmission, even though the original car and build had it!! So basically the car I bought wasn't what I was expecting or led to believe.... The car also has the early TC.. does that work hand in hand with the LSD, should it be disabled?

What are my options here?

Thoughts welcome.
