One of the most impressive Porsche products I have seen in a while

Rich from www.speedlingerie.com sent me these pictures of a speed yellow gt2 nose bra. I was quite impressed with the color and the quality of this product. I inquired about these bra's a while ago but never followed up on it becuase I stopped driving the porsche long distance -

Anyway if you drive long distances and are **** about chips like me ( I dont care for the plastic film stuff ) This is a must have product

Personally I'm not into leather exteriors on any car - but I'm amazed at the fit of that thing!

I agree Darren.
It's a nice luxury to have for those long trips.
Personally, I have the urathatne for everyday (and on ArcSlvr you hardly can see it).........but if it's a really long trip, the lingerie goes on.........also makes clean-up on arrival alot easier......it's a quality product.

VERY tight fit though....means the 1st time you put it on, choose a hot day, stretch it out, leave it on for a few days.

Nice fitment, but most likely will loosen up as time goes by. Nice stiching job though.

"He" is me.
It is for a 996TT (although I bought it for my C4S). Arctic silver.
$$$ is somewhere around 60% of "new" (I will need to look up the receipt).
The small hood section was slipped on for about 20 seconds to see how easily it went on, but other than that - it has never been on a car.
"He" also has the matching side view mirror covers.

I agree with Darren!

Speedlingerie is a great product. I have had one of their bras since my 02 Cab was new, and have had great success with it. Their shop is in Mountain view, and I have seen their craftsmen at work sewing these things together. Very impressive.

I also have the mirror bras s well.

That looks like a great fit, I saw a Speed Lingerie bra on a 993TT once in red and the fit was horrible, for the price of them I would expect near perfect.

Sorry to dredge up an older topic, but it's my first time responding to a post on this site, and haven't visited that "other site" in months...

I have the Speed Lingerie on my '03 SY C2, w/ mirror covers. This is indeed a fantastic product, and SL whipped it out for me in a few days in preparation for my west coast road trip.

They rate it to something like 150MPH, which I felt obligated to verify. No prob.

It is kind of a pain in the @#$ to install, and you have to clean the underside of it in the middle of a road trip if you hit a summer squall or two like we did, but the thing never moved.

Drove through death valley in the middle of summer where many manufacturers test new cars (saw the new Chrysler 300, a Dodge Magnum towing a trailer, some new Slowbaru's, and what appeared to be Ford's new HD pickup (?). Some gawkers thought I had the "new" Carrera when they saw my SY camo front end!

Sorry about the rambling, but had to endorse this product.

Cheers,
-DT
