Dastek piggyback computer?

I have in my posession 2 Dastek piggyback computers (1 main and 1 backup) that were taken off my 1999 C2 that had this mod already installed when I purchased it. I have no idea what they really do nor what they are worth. They are basically rectangular blocks about 6x4x.75" that look to have some SCSI-looking type port at one end. I am looking to get rid of these but would like to know more about them before I do so. Can anyone shed some light on these things? Thanks a lot!

To elaborate on my original post, I found out that these are Dastek UNICHIP Piggyback computer program modules for OBDII. I still have no idea on the story behind these.

Looks like someone dyno tuned the car. I would leave it in there.

unichips are great products, i've sold a not insignificant amount without issue and if u have a custom tune, i would leave it in there unless its causing you problems man.
