What brand of headers do you guys recommend? I found Schnell headers for $750 from an ebay dealer. Did you notice any significant sound/peformance gains?
Thanks,
Thanks,

Thanks,

i picked up a lot of midrange and peak HP with my headers (suncoast motorsports). i think i'm one of the only people on here that has actually dyno'd the headers before and after. i picked up approx. 25 rwhp at around 5K and approx. 10rwhp at redline.
have any other members (not sponsors) done any independent dyno tests on headers recently?
if i'm not mistaken, the suncoast headers are now being sold at EVO under their name. although you can still buy them from suncoast. the quality is good and the fit was perfect. they bolted right up.

the inox headers from Neil Orton gave my car excellent torque and hp before my car dyno as advertised 420 hp and 358 tq. However after installing the headers it was 476 hp and 375 tq and my car is supercharged, so for n/a it won't be this

let me make this clear the 56 hp is crank hp, i was using an sae software program the same one that before dynoed the as advertised 420 hp & 375 tq.
the program was right then, so why wouldn't it be right after the header installation. Nothing to prove or gain by this back and forth, oh and just for shock value i went with a smaller pulley and it now dynoed @ 537 in the am
and 520 during the day. here's something else to disbelieve as did the guy on the zo6 till i pulled away from him like he was sitting still. We started @ 50 mph. By the way it was an older 2004

i have three questions for you.
are you actually using a dyno or are you using a gtech or similar unit to measure your HP?
two, do you have a 3.4 or 3.6 liter C2?
is the 56HP max HP or peak HP at redline?
if you are in fact getting 47.5 rear wheel HP from headers alone, i will take my headers off today, buy a set of yours, and turn mine into a hookah bong

can't stop laughing. You are so right!
not that it makes a difference, but is it true that it turns out the fabspeed stuff is made overseas? i remember reading a post a while back where somebody found the manuf site in japan or somewhere.
