Had a great time yesterday, excellent autocross in every way. They had a record 160 cars, all Porsche, and the organisation was perfect. We all got 10 runs on the long difficult course, best time was 1.42 for a full race 914 with slicks. I did a 2.02, took second place in my class (MP).
Oh I forgot to mention they were only two cars in my class.

 

Wow 10 runs with 160 cars! That's great! I presume all the runs except the last 3 counted? I think the San Diego's setup of practice runs all day until the last 3 are great. You get more runs this way.

 

Came by and watched - quite a crowd. I missed tech so I'll have to wait until next time.

 

Yes, only the last 3 timed runs counted and they took the best one.
