Got a modded Targa?

We never really see any Targas for some reason- I guess cabs are just way more popular but I'm really digging them. The chasis doesn't seem quite as flex-happy as a cab. And with a few mods (we installed PSS9s, H&R sways, the Brembo F50 Brake kit, an SSK, GIAC flash, EVO Intake, headers and exhaust) the car is quite nifty. It corners really well and doesn't feel quite as heavy as a cab either.

Very neat Targa... quite a sleeper too, until you rev it. Do the brembos make a "huge" difference? Well from higher speeds and on the track and especially in terms of temps/consistency/fade- they sure do. For regular street driving they do have better "bite".

I love the Targa's, except i was told by the Dealership, its not great for Canadian Winters coz of the Roof Structure, noisey when cold.

I also love targas... its quite rare to actually see them. I've always wanted to drive one to see how the glass roof feels

I was asking James and I think this car was really only one of two we've ever worked on. It seems very much to be based on the C2 cab platform but nonetheless is quite a bit stiffer than those.

Targa

Crossing the street for a second to peer into the Carrera window...We just own a Boxster and Cayenne...I LOVE Targa's and had we not the other two...I'd by an brand new Targa. Give that we like the flexibility of stretching our Porsche dollar, I am looking at older Targa's to round out the stable ...So,

Any particular year of Targa to stay away from? I have heard of leaks and rattles and know Dr. P really did an upgrade on the 07's...but I don't have the deep pockets, therefore I have my eye on an 03 with about 35K miles and about a 52K price tag...Thoughts anyone?

PS-Sharkster BADA## Targa...NICE WORK...LOVE sleepers
