Just spoke to my dealer and ......

All of the US spec GT3's passed customs today and are released to the trucking companies. They should arrive in the next 2 to4 days at the dealerships

KarlS is infamous around these parts
But it is built on a C4S chassis due to the extra stiffness and larger area upfront for gas tank (which we don't get here in the US).

I think it was built on the C4 chasis at least the Mk1 GT3, not C4S. Does the C4S share the C4 chasis or the TT's?

My understanding is the basic chassis is the same with reinforcement for the extra drivetrain of the AWD and/or extra power of the TT and GT3 (including cup and RSR). There was an article in Christophorous comparing the GT3 and the C2 a few years back. Anybody care to look back and find out for sure?

It definately couldn't be built on the C4S chasis. I believe I read the C4 chasis is what it is built upon, but my curiousity there is what exactly is the difference between the C4 Chasis and the C2 Chasis other than the ability to accept AWD if that is even a difference at the level of the chasis?

From my recollection it was built on the C4 chassis for additional rigidity and room upfront for a larger fuel cell. Read it in Christophoreus a while back.
