Aftermarket Optiosn

Looking at 99-03 911's, what good aftermarket sites are there? How fast are people getting these cars to go NA? Is Forced Induction a possiblity?

Evoms Supercharger is the best bang for the buck in terms of horsepower. They claim + 120hp. You might still be able to get into the group buy going on....

ummm.. these are not drag cars... Not many people are drag racing a carerra.. some of the turbo guys do quite a bit, but mainly you will see these cars on the road course and auto-x

you want low 12's... get the S/C.. and it runs 10-15k installed

Why not just buy a Turbo 996? Way more HP potential.

maybe the mustangs..and S4's.. but the supras and EVo's.. they will spank you on the street.. Supra are great 1/4 mile and freeway cars,,, so are EVO's.. not trying to burst your bubble, but if I wanted a fast car for freeway only, or for 1/4 mile I would not have bought my 911... it is a totally different car, and my brother wants to trade me all the time for his 9 sec street legal camaro

Missing the point

P cars are designed to go fast around a corner at high speeds, not off the line. I like to see a mustang take a tight curve at 120 mph. Not sure which end will come out first. Standard suspension systems on Pcars are years ahead of the $20,000 Mustang with a straight rear axle. Big engine go straight is the American motto. Only exception is the C6 Corvette in which Porsche is going to have to shave some weight with an aluminun sub-frame or figure how to get more HP.

I agree...having owned cars like a modded Supra TT, any of those cars will kill the 996 straight line. The 996 is a better "overall" car per say (esp in the corners) but for what you want to do...buy a different car. Sounds like you just want to pull on your buddies on the highway a bit...

As for mods, most NA 911s go with a TPC or EVO supercharged for the power. The answers to alot of your questions can be handled by the search button as well and would be your best bet.
