Anyone had luck getting RMS covered out of warranty?

I've already had it done once under warranty. I went out of warranty some time ago, as it's an 02.

I'm hoping PCNA is being generous with this issue since it's a known problem. I found a nice puddle on my garage floor this afternoon right underneath where the rear main seal is.

Do I even have a chance getting it covered or should I just break out my checkbook and have an indepedent shop do it this time?

my rms has never leaked but I was going to get it changed anyways while I was installing a new flywheel and clutch. do you guys think that by changing it prematurely now it would be the start of RMS problems?

depends on how many miles you have... if you have a lot on there with no probs, then i guess you're one of the lucky ones who escaped it and i wouldn't mess with it.

I'd still do it with the new design RMS and bolts if your doing the clutch anyway. Mine was done when my tranny was out for a warranty repair even though it wasn't leaking.
