Got my updated build sheet from the dealer today The new status is CMPPRD. I'm guessing it means completed production, but how long now before she's over here getting her new exhaust and shoes fitted?

When I ordered my '02 Carrera the time line went like this (back when all cars came into Charleston):
9/5/01 completed production (CMPPRD)
9/11 left Germany
9/20 arrived Charleston
9/23 left Charleston
9/28 arrived in CA
9/29 took delivery!

I've heard that it's usually 4 - 6 weeks from completed production to arrival at the dealer.

 

Give or take 5 weeks.

 

P.S. What was your month or production?

 

Back in december, my dealer told me that it was a feb 9 build date. He faxed the build sheet and I saw that code and a vin # I thought the wait for the build date was long, this next month is gonna be torture!!!

 

WOOHOO!!! the new sheet as of today says ONVESL counting down the days!!!

 

nice at least yours is completed, mine is JUST ordered. congrats - get yourself a diecast model or something for the remainder of the wait!!

 

Not sure if you're into RC cars, but I have a yokomo gt4 with the body done almost exactly like mine with the chrome mesh wheels as well. I even went as far as to put Player's Run stickers on it lol
