New Guy Intro & Question

Greetings from a new to me '02 996 owner. Fantastic car. Cool forum. Lots of info to digest for a newbie. Anybody have some picts or recommendations for an aero kit on a '02 NA 996? I like a lot of the picts I have seen but not always sure who makes it, costs, etc.

I have a pict from a DE I did recently of my car I'll post later. Cool pict but a bone stock car. I'll work on that.

Anyway, cheers.

Joe

PS Wife has a Cayenne. 2 P-cars (er, uh SUV) in the garage loks cool.

My personal favourite for the narrowbody regular 996s is the GT3 RS front, GT3 sideskirts and the reg GT3 wing.

See those vents? That's what is seperating the RS from the regular GT3 front.

Here you can see the GT3 sideskirts and wing.

I agree with Porsche Fanatic. On a narrow body, it's really difficult to beat the look of a GT3 bodykit!

Welcome to the boards and have fun!

I think that it would look better with the MKI 'Taco' wing, or with the full fledged RS wing blade. The MKII wing looks odd, sorta like an ironing board.

I may be one of the few but I don't really like the GT3 front...everything else I love. On my 02, I have a Orciari Front Lip, GT3 skirts, and the stock rear. I may or may not go with a GT3 wing in the future...undecided right now.
