UPFATED!!! It is actually a GT3 wing..w/ Pics! GT2 Wing on my Cab?

I posted this on Rennlist and wanted some 6speeders opinions as well...so what say you?

What do you guys think about the GT2 style wing for a Cab?
I just spoke to the original owner of my 996 cab and he said that he has a GT2 wing that comes with the car and I just need to go pick it up. Apparently it needs a different deck lid since my current aero wing is fixed on my current deck lid. He said it is a simple deck switch..all color matched and everything. A $3K wing that is mine for the taking..and I can switch back and forth from the current aero to a GT2 style.
So...what do you guys thinks looks better? Should I switch it out? I was thinking about going to pick it up this weekend and wasnt sure if I wanted to install it.

Anyone have pics of one? Would love and respect your opinions. TIA!~
here is a pic of the current AERO set up...should I switch it out for the GT2?

are you saying that you can have the wing for free? Yeh, put it on and see how it looks... Here one on a coupe https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...t=44739&page=3

I thought the gt2 wing would look to big on a narrow body, but for some reason I like what this guy did... but like I said... its free, so why not.

IMO, I wouldn't go to GT2 wing. To me it's a little too much for a NB car.

OK...thanks for your opinions...I will try and pick up the wing this weekend and see how easy/hard it is to install and take some pics.

I agree the GT2 may be too big on a NB car...but maybe it will look different on a cab?

Appreciate any more opinions or thoughts. I hope I can pick it up and take a look at it. Since it comes with the car...I like the option...either way.

Thank you all!

The masses think I should keep the aero and sell the GT2 wing. I am going to pick up the wing tomorrow AM. Once I bring it home and its easy enough to install...I will try. If not I will just take some pics of it..and heck maybe sell it.

What is a GT2 wing worth? In I assume perfect condition painted Arctic Silver already?

My vote is No Wing on a Cab. Ruins the lines on an awesome design. My favorite cab is the C4S - even more so than the TT cab.

OK..so I go and pick up the wing yesterday...and what do I get? It is NOT a GT2 wing as I was told..it is a GT3 Carbon Wing. No...I have to be honest. This is NOT my style...and I will 99% will be selling this. It is a tad too Fast and Furious for my taste and that wing will in no way shape or form find its way on my precious cab....with that being said. Here are the pics...and if anyone here knows the wing and more info on it..that would be appreciated. I will most likely list on ebay or CL or Recycler locally here...as I DO NOT WANT TO SHIP this...local pick up only. So...if anyone is interested feel free to PM me. I dont even know how much to sell it for. I have to do my research. There are some minot scratches and nicks from storage but I have pics of that too if someone was seriously interested in buying this.

Again...thanks for everyone's help and opinions. I will be keeping my car just the way it is.
