My new 996.....well sort of!
Hey everyone....I have just registered on this cool forum...
I'm currently waiting on my C2 996 to be delivered around Nov/Dec (Australian Delivery)
In the meantime, the people at 'AutoArt' models have released a facelifted 996 in speed yellow for me to play with until the real thing arrives later this year...
Its a 1/18 scale model and has opening Doors, Bonnet + Boot Lid (Hood and Trunk for you US guys). Engine bay is detailed and so is under the hood....
I have attached a photo or 2 for all to see....
Regards

The Model is manufactured by a company called AutoArt Models.
They have a website - www.autoartmodels.com
The 996 is a 1/18 scale and should be available in the US at any good hobby shop etc. I purchased mine from a hobby shop which deals mainly in static models of cars.
Note that other Porsche models are also available - They are obviously manufactured under license from Porsche.
I'll have to convert mine to RHD as I'm in Aus
I apologise for the slightly out of focus photos...Unfortunately I'm using a cheap Konica digital camera (borrowed from work) and I cannot adjust the aperture manually to allow for more depth of field.
