Thats is gonna be such a sick ride. I have always wanted a targa, but never really seen one done up. best of luck to the project, and my vote goes to silver/pewter, just like redridge said, dont give it all to them at once, reel'em in

i think if you want to stay kinda classy go for the CGT seats, but if it's still the wow factor you are looking for go with some Cobra seats, they look good and have a crazy gadgety look to them! take a look at the Misano and Evolution seats....one is road...the other track...

Right now I am planning on molding them with a seam to show off the flare. No rivets or anything like that. The front fenders and a little built in seam and that is what I am going to have them match.

I will have an update tomorrow. I am going by the shop to check on thier progress. Hopefully there will be something nice to show. I am about 85% on a gunmetal silver. Just trying to decide on what shade and car I will use it off of. I want it medium darkness with good flake and possibily add a blue pearl.

Glad to see the project is coming along!! I would have to say go with silver, or orange... no yellow we don't need anymore widebody 996's that are yellow LOL
as far as seats go, Recaro, the Brides just do not flow with the car. Maybe it is because all you see Bride seats in are JDM type cars, but that is just me.
Are you going to be showing the car? I forget where do you live?

Well I stopped by the shop today and they are saying the cold weather backed them up and they were not able to get my kit on as promised. I will be going over tomorrow after 4 to see the car up on the rack and have them fitting the kit.
Body shops suck. It seems that everyone I know has always had issues with them on getting things done in time. If any bodyshop ever learned to manage thier shop right, do quality work and get things done on time they would make a fortune!
Here are some pictures of it as it sits now. I also took a few shots of the rinspeed stuff.
The new exhaust is not on yet and the tips will have to be adjusted to fit the bumper.
Pardon how dirty it is, its at a shop
