Help: weird clunking problem from front wheel wells at slow speeds

I don't know how long it has been happening but I just recently noticed it, when I turn into or out of driveways at slow speed I sometimes hear this clunking sound from the front of the car.

This clunking sound happens as I am making an almost 90 degree turn and right when I hit the sight incline onto our out of the driveway. I usually either sort of feel it in the steering wheel or hear just one "clunk" and it disappears. The sound always comes from what seems like either the right or left wheel well.

Is this normal or is something going to go horribly wrong soon?

Thanks for all of your input. Really helped last time with the rear track control arm repair.

it is the Sway bar... what you want to do is get some grease in there,, where the sway bar slides in the rubber snubber (forgot the name so that sounds good) . what happens is that at certain wheels angles water can sneak in there...

I hope that takes care if it

Awesome, thanks Bruce. Good to hear chances are my front wheels won't be flying off somewhere when I'm on the highway or one of those Santana Row drives

Funny thing, i am hearing the same thing. Had Alex and James check it out when my car was in the hospital and checked out with a clean bill of health. Same situation as yours....

Usually the sway bar and/or drop links.... We greased her up some C4bliss... she wasn't making them before she left but if she is then we'll likely need new drop links. Remember yours is a bit different seeing as you have JICs with solid pillow ball mounts, camber plates and the rest of that _hard_ stuff

LOL . I hit the coyote with the S2k

Result of that collision was ugly, pretty close to that chicken through the windshield in the off topic post... https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...962#post906962

Well... at least we now know why the chicken crossed the road.

You can never get that smell out of the car!

Be sure the check the brackets that hold the sway bar close to the body.. where is slides through the middle... not just the drop links
