Turbo bumper or GT3

I have 99 996 C4. I have already installed the turbo bumper on it but am not sure I like it. I have considered the attached pic instead (GT3) look. What you think? -

Also, anybody have any experience dealing with percisionporsche?

The problem is I don't like the OEM GT3 that they make for the 99. The better look came out in 01 (a little more aggressive and sharper lines, IMHO)

It wont look right with your front end....thats the problem....for a TT or GT3 mk II you need to have the new lights.....if you wanna keep your lights...go GT3 Mk I or Ruf....those are the best looking for the early 996's.....

i've seen the precision gt3 bumper. they are pretty good quality. not sure if they are fiberglass which would be my only concern.

Did you see underneath? - Is it like OEM? I agree, I would not want fiberglass either.

I'm pretty sure that guys stuff is fiberglass. I'm with Newport Ruf or Aero MK1.

Or... Techart chin

I'd call Dayton at DPS Motorsports. OEM GT3 bumper for less than 1K and they also have a great place for paint (if you want them to) - here's a pic of a full aerokit on my 01, all from DPS Motorsports with them painting.

WLee69, your car has the older style GT3 bumper. Take a look at the GT3 bumper directly above and you will see the difference. IMHO, I just like the newer style better - thats is what I am trying to get. I don't think there is an OEM for 99-early 01 cars.

if you get the 99 mkII front you should replace the rear to MkII as well with the rockers to balance things out.

I do not suggest getting the MKII GT3 bumper on your 99, it looks off. I would get a nice high quality RUF "RGT" bumper for your car. Its pricey but looks a ton better with the 99-01 lights than other bumpers do. I would also suggest doing the entire kit as well as the car will look more complete.
