REVO vs. GIAC

My dad maybe intrested in a flash soon, so he was curious what are some differences between these two flashes. Pros and Cons...etc. also, does the GIAC have a 100 oct. program???

thanks,
Chasen

GIAC all the way, baby. We deal closely with AWE and this is who they use. I had a GIAC chip in my S4 and it was incredible. And to top it off, I have never seen a problem caused by a GIAC software program

OK I am biased on this one.. GIAC all the way..

GIAC has been around for a long time. They support there dealers and customers very well. You have a good network of reputable shops who can help if you are ever out of your immediate area.

They are 5 minutes from our shop/We are probably the closest tuning partner in terms of geographic location... We could have chosen anyone to partner up with but we went with GIAC because they proved they knew what they were doing.

Yes people audizine are very opinionated.. Alot of it probably has to do with the age group you are dealing with. Not to say they arent informative or that they dont know what they are talking about.... 6speeders are more mature and not into playing "I'm gonna be a key board tuner today" Although on occasion we have benched raced.... LOLOLOL

Just my 02.

thank you all for your opinions. I too believe GIAC is top notch, not to mention Sharkwerks is only 10min away, so if any issues occur Alex could hook it up. can some of you guys maybe describe some characteristics of the car after the flash.(i.e. throttle response etc...)

thanks
Chasen

BTW, does GIAC have a 100 octane option for the carreras, like the GT700 cars???

Hey Fabryce, how does the GIAC work in combo with your new header, exhaust and 200 cell cat?

chasen, since you're local have your dad try out our C2 with the flash, intake etc.. Or just ask someone local. We've done so many NA 996s and 997s and the results are always the same. A bit more power, improved throttle response and many people have commented on the driveability. It's obviously not going to give you huge gains like on a turbo but Garret managed to eke out a few HP that's for sure

All of the performance aspects of Revo Technik software, timing and air/fuel are fully adjustable. Furthermore, throttle response is also fully adjustable to your liking.

All of these aspects are customized to the car owners preference and vehicle limitations at the time the software is installed. In the end, what you end up with is a pretty much a custom piece of software specifically tuned for your vehicle.

If you’d like, you can take our free 5-hour trial to see for yourself.
