how do you take it out? how solid does it feel? in other words - any chance of it coming out on a freeway?

Remember that if you leave your car sitting for more than 5 days the remote opener is turned off for power savings and you will be taking the plug out to open your car unless you leave it unlocked to begin with.

It can be taken out with your finger nail. I pull mine out when I wash the car.
Hold on, that didn't sound right did it?!!

I remove the plug with my finger nail...damn...the piece that you are talking about here, it comes out really easy!

Exactly! I never have understood the idea of locking the car while it's in the garage. If the thieves are in your garage already, that locked car door is the least of your worries.

Most people are worried about the car being vandalized by some kids, if the doors are locked it's less likely. Now getting the car keyed can happen anywhere.
