Factory 996 alarm?

IS the factory alarm on the 996 good enough? or should i look into getting a new alarm?

yeah the factory alarm is pretty good. There simply no way to take it unless its towed or someone really really wants it and is willing to spend the money on the technology to take the car.

I cant say anything for the ******* druggy that will break your windows for the pair of glasses or ipod you have on the seat.

i honestly did not know that these things had alarms in em...Mine has never gone off. Do they all come with alarms???

yes...alll come with alarms....it works when you use the remote to lock the car.....if you use the key, i dont think it activates....

The previous owner had a motion sensor added and also a sensor for the front lights since they did get stolen once off the car... Now when the car is locked the motion sensor senses a hand or anything coming in when the top is down and the front Litronics are protected by sensors with a blue LED that flashes when the alarm is on as to warn someone that the lights have their own "alarms"...
