Finally got my prototype installed today. At idle the engine seems to behave normally until throttle opens up to about 4k rpm then the power kicks in. I have own this C2 almost 3 yrs and have not experience anything like it till now. After 4k rpm the engine seems to rev easier and continues to deliver. I can definitely feel the passing power from 50mph to 90mph up to 120mph with out any hesitation. Now this could all be in my head thinking that I just added something to improve a little performance. Well Friday is the day to run some Dyno test @ Swanson Performance in Torrance to really know the truth. Wish me luck guys....

 

Good Luck! Will you be able to do dyno runs on the same dyno at the same time and swaping in and out the mystery part while still on the dyno? This way all other atmospheric factors will be even.

That's exactly what I plan on doing this Friday. I talked to the owner of Swanson Perf and he allowed me to use his facility to do the change on the part. I done it so many time now that I can change it within an hour. So now the modified piece is coming off and the original goes back in for Friday dyno run.

 

I am in if it works!

In Cali this is a simple mod if you have X50. Just buy a tank of 100 octane gas (about $150 bucks) and your HP will jump about 20hp over 91 octane gas . The best part is it's totally reversable and the dealer will never now.
