So I needed brake pads. No biggie. I called to order and the guy asked for my vin# just to make sure he was sending the right parts. I told him 2001, C2, Cab, 3.4 non turbo which is what I bought from the dealer. He says my vin# pulls up the car with Carerra4 stats. Is the dealer I bought it from retarded or is the vin check wrong? My carfax report says C4 as well. How can I tell?

I had the same problem. It is a mistake

 

how can you tell? if you have a c4... see if you have an inflatable spare tire, under the floor of the trunk. The c2 tire is full size in the trunk.
Also, front wheels has a drive shaft attached to it
