Pedals without Rubber Grips?

Has anyone used these pedals without the rubber grips?
I'm thinking it should be a better feel being flush, as your shoes slide across the pedals.
My concern is will it be slippery when wet?

Anyone with experience with these, or any advice, feedback or suggestions?

Thanks.

porschenut911: No they're not OEM, they're about $105 shipped, on ebay.

Ray: Thanks for the feedback.

I like the rennline pedals, no rubber and metal is pushed out towards your foot to give grip.

I have a set of FVD aluminum pedals - no rubber bumps - and they are great. I've autocrossed with them and have had no problems.

I bought these and put them on about 300 miles ago. They are very nice quality and fit - especially for $140. The seller is very friendly and super-responsive.

Personally I like the rubber inserts, a bit grippier.

sorry no pics but you can see a bit of them in my kenwood NAV install thread.
I'll have to go out and take a few photos.

I see-
heck it would still be a cool spot to keep the book. Maybe I can order the piece and attach it, saving the glovebox for more useful things.
