Get the AUX-in kit from Becker. Call them at

(201)327-3434 x 1209, or (888) 423-3537 x 1209. The kit costs less than $20, and takes about 15 minutes to install and configure.

Darren:

The Becker kit has female RCA jacks on it, so then just get cable that has dual male RCA jacks on one end, and a mini stereo headphone jack on the other. They are about $4 at Radio Shack. I drilled a hole in my bottom bin in the console, and routed the cable through there. It works great.

Yes, that is a Traffic Pro. The screen is fine, I seem to only need it when I am inputing an address. 90% of the direction is by voice command. There are several female voice to choose from, as well as German, Spanish, and Italian. I am very pleased with it. Plus it has a compass dial on the screen that is always on.

I broke down and orderd a yellow monza. I didn't want the hassle of trying to add an aftermarket head unit to my bose system. Should be here in a couple of weeks. Since they didn't have colors that matched the interior lighting, my wife decided to match it to the center console How was the install? I have the factory tape player with the cd changer in there now. I've been told it'll operate the changer. Is there anything special as far as installation? Does it come with those slot tools to pop the stock radio out? Are there any extra wires or does everything plug up just like stock? Thanks.

If you have the CDR-220 right now, the back of the unit is EXACTLY the same. Just plug everything back in the same way it currently is in the CDR-220.

It should come with the removal keys. Be aware though that since the Beckers don't have the frame around them, they are a very tight fit. Just because it doesn't come out easily doesn't mean you're doing something wrong. Also, when putting the brand new Becker in, mine was such a tight fight that it had to get scratches on the top of the unit in order to fit. That's what they call a custom fit! Every unit gets "molded" to the car. Just a heads up. Units are very very tight when new.
