Swirls

Does anybody here have a good way to remove swirls? Is there a product that works?

If not, can somebody recommend a really good detailer in Los Angeles (valley or downtown area) who can do it?

best detailer in los angeles that everyone knows or should know is International Detailers "freddie" in west LA. by far the best, better than black car detail or jose's mobile detailer. just so you know bob, swirls can be temporarily be removed by waxing the car, but polishing or color sanding will remove it permenately.

Bobby,
If you want to try it yourself, there's a product called
safe cut made by the wax shop that works well, follow the label directions and then apply a coat of Mothers sealer and glaze,if you decide it's too much work take it to a pro.

Thanks

Thanks guys. Where can I buy that product? I'm willing to give it a try.

Erik - I bought some of that Rejex stuff. Will apply to the HREs before they're mounted. Seems like pretty interesting stuff.

If you want to permanantly remove the swirls, try 3M Swirl Mark Remover with a random orbital buffer. Worked miracles on my Ocean Blue C2.

My detailing guy is DC Autocraft in Burbank. They handle the P-car bodywork & detailing from Rusnak in Pasadena. They did an awesome job on my black C2 cab. Their number is (818) 846-5032.

Freddie is on westwood blvd and pico behind the goodguys. you need to go through the alley. i have gone to several of LA's so called top detailers, but this guy seriously makes your car like you just bought it. his shop looks like an exotic car dealership.

Eric,

Do you have a number for this place? How long does he take and how much does he charge? Sounds like something I'd like to do, but since I come in from OC, I'd have to wait for the work to be done.
