Front spoiler

I like the look of the front spoiler too and did some checking on the net and I found a more economical version.

This dam weather we still have a ton of snow and its freezing cold (-24C)

Nicely done, looks great- post the source of the spoiler for others. Yeh I guess for now it will be more functional as a "snow plow"

Drive safe- Saw your sig - I had a Yamaha RZV500R 'Kenny Roberts' edition back in late 90's - was a private legally titled import from Japan, re-tuned it back to the 100hp range. damn not many things more fun than a 500cc 2 stroke V4 street race bike! I sold it for a good chunk of change but I do miss it, one of the best 'toys' I ever owned.

I had two RZ(RD)500's, one in Germany when is came out in 1985 (totaled it) and than one in Canada 12yrs ago (sold 2yrs ago). I raced both bikes, but I am getting to old, so Porsche it is :-)

Front lip spoiler

As I said I did some searching on the internet a came across a product called EZ-Lip (www.ezlip.com)

It is an inexpensive lip to improve the visual effect of your car. It is not designed to improve the aerodynamic on the car, or improve the down force at high speed, it is purely cosmetic.

Some Porsche people may say it looks cheap, I have to disagree. I am very satisfied with EZ Lip product and don’t see the need to spend over $200 for an OEM lip. If you are just looking to improve the appearance of your 996, EZ-Lip is certainly a good, inexpensive option.

I have seen the product at Canadian Tire (for the Canadian Porsche owners) or on Amazon and for $30 how can you not try it. No screws, easy to use. It took me 15minuted to install (www.ezlip.com/how.html) and if you don’t like it, just peel it off again. I read many reviews, some are good and some are mixed, but as I said you don’t have to break the bank to try it.

I have no affiliation with EZlip, just a guy who has to work hard for his money ;-)

I figured none of the lips are going to last if it is too low. I was considering the GT3TEK and saw your pictures using EZ-lip.

The EZ-lip looks too high, but how is it holding up?

What screens in the air scoops ..did you make those or found them already made to put in there to catch bugs?

thanks DRT50
