I'm seriously considering the plenum as my next mod. My car is a 99 996, bone stock engine. I was reading some of the older treads that just the plenum alone can add up to 25hp on a 3.4 engine. Does anyone else with a 3.4 dyno'd with the plenum?

 

Don't get it for the dyno, get it for how it smooths out the power delivery....

 

I did the plenum on my bone stock 99 996. Without any other mods all I can say is I was seriously happier with throttle response and a much better power gain. I think the most gain is with the 99. Call them and talk to Greg. He is a nice guy great customer service.

 

Would you say that you can tell there is a gain with driving around town or only at WOT?

In any style of driving you definitely will feel it!

 

adybuncio: I see that you have almost any mod possible in short of a s/c. What would you suggest as my next mod with the plenum? Maybe an intake to complement it?

 

agree...I feel the increase everywhere

 

intake will just really increase sound and not much in hp. The stock intake is a great design in getting in nice cool air from the outside. Just get a new free flow filter. I go with ECU flash, or exhaust.
