OEM GT3 MKII bumper and side skirts, all brand new for $1050 / Good deal?

On Friday some @$$hole backed into my car and mashed the front bumper, so instead of replacing it with another standard bumper, figured now would be a good time to upgrade.

I have a chance to pick these parts up for $1050 total price, all brand new parts:
GT3 MKII Cup poly race-reinforced bumper
GT3 MKII OEM Side skirts

Still in boxes. Is this a good price?

My pcar would look like this:

(Fab / Kirb I hope you don't mind my borrowing your pics, they are so nice!)

What goes in the three top openings- are there snap-in grills? Are there any duct pieces or bumper brackets required? I just want to make sure the bumper is complete should I decide to buy it.

The price is good if it's OEM. I got my GT3 MKII OEM Side skirts from Brandywine Porsche $700 shipped last year.

The front bumper on the first picture is a GT3 Cup bumper, second picture(yellow) is a GT3 RS bumper, the differences is the shape of the three top openings, cup has more straight angle and the RS has a rounded/curved corner, should be fixed-on already.

You can add the mesh grill if you're not going to add the third radiator.

Porsche suggest to add a matching "wing" if you are upgrading to the GT3 front, balance out the aero dynamic.

Do they come with the cup lip?

Thanks for the info- I have a tiptronic so I already have the third radiator installed- What should I do about this in regards to the mesh grill and opening?

The bumper does not come with the lip, but I already bought the Cup lip and presently have it installed on my standard bumper (yes, it fits!). So i'll just transfer it over to the GT3 bumper.

DO IT! I like the RS better. It's a good price but MAKE sure it is OEM otherwise your getting screwed...

Oh and get some clear sidemarkers and a Wing to go with it!

Thanks- Yeah I have to update my Avatar.. I have the clear side markers already, I think that was my 1st mod (I hate those orange side markers..).

The bumper is not OEM, it is a race repro in poly and has added reinforcement for less deflection at speeds over 125 (yeah I'll be doing that a lot in LA!!.. heh).
Works out to $700 for the bumper, approximately. The shop has a reputation for excellence and I'm buying it from the owner. Is this too much? What is a good price? I could have bought a fiberglass bumper for less, but I did not want fiberglass.

Im skeptical in the fact that you get what you pay for...

I would just say be patient and find one used or spend the money and get new. Unless you have an accident you will only be spending the money once.

I've always said "do it right, and do it right the FIRST time"

Only you will know from seeing it though.

No problem!

Saw some other GT3 bumper with the mesh grill on them and looks neat, I left mine opened, it's really up to you.

Your car will look sharp with the kit!
