Angry I am A MAJOR FREAKIN IDIOT

I was running to pick up some papers yesteday for the resale of my house and I pulled into a parking spot and one of those old fashioned "parking blocks" jumped right out at me We quickly I back up the car and turn it off. I get out and these is antifreeze POURING out of my car. That f-in curb was only 1/4 in my spot and the rest in the spot next to me. Anyway it took 2 1/2 hours to get the car on the flat bed cause the tow hook was never out back after my flat. Anyway, I cant claim it under my insurance so it looks like 800-1500 I was not expecting especially since i settle on my new house on Thursday . What do you guys think is damaged and any estimates on repair costs????

Here's my episode with curbing. I carelessly pulled too close to one of those curb-type wheel stops and when I backed out the rebar sticking up thru the curb grabbed the front spoiler and tore it. Damage was about $1100. I went after their insurance company and finally got paid. My insurance company initially paid the damages and actually they went after their insurance company. If it was the rebar sticking up thru the curb, you have a case. If the curbing did the damage, you're on your own. Bummer.

NC Bob, what's a rebar?

Is that the metal spike that holds the parking curb into the pavement that you sometimes see peeking up over the top edge of the parking curb?

Oggie yes the rebar is the metal spike that holds it 9into the groud. I thought about doing the third radiator but my car never runs THAT hot and for the one autocross day a year its just not cost justifiable.....

Oggie,
That's it. Whomever installs them always leaves an inch or two sticking above the curb so that they have something to grab onto when moving the curb. Unfortunately, our cars also grab onto the metal spike and can do considerable damage.

Ouch, Hopefully you will be south of $1,000 with that repair, it could always be worse.

I picked up the car today. It was 658.49 All in all, not as bad as i thought. That did not touch repairing the bumper at all. I think I will go the "colors on parade mobile scratch repair" route since it is on the very bottom of the bumper. I might need to order a new GT-3 front lip spoiler though. There about 100.00 right?? Thats it for now....
