997 GT3 wing on a 996....

I wanted to know what you guys think of a 997 GT3 wing on a 99' 996 narrow body. I currently have a aero kit on it now but i just love the 997 GT3 wing. I'm also planning on getting a 997 GT3 front bumper once people have perfected it. It's made out of fiberglass if anyone wants to know. Here are a few pics, please give me your honest opinion.

It'll look great once it's painted to match. Also looks like the fit and clearance is good.

i liked it until i saw the silver/grey car. on that car it overwhelms the rear end of the car. i think the 997's rear end droops or extends back further than the 996, giving it better proportions. for the 996, stick with 996 body parts.

do you have 996 aero kit parts for sale?

Not feeling it on the silver car, although its a car at a somewhat normal height and no skirts...with it lower, with 19s and skirts it may not overwhelm the car.

agree with newport...the wing somewhat commands a more aggressive look

I like the rear bumper....smooth and no bumperettes. What kind of bumper is that again?

WTRacing has a little shameless behaviour in the past
the grayish car needs some side skirts and a front lip or something to tie it all together..

If you have a body kit on it, go for it. It wont look too much different from the taco look. That yellow car's rear bumper would help tie it in too.

Thanks for all the input. So basically you guys are saying don't put it on a stock 996. Well what do you guys think about this. I agree with DEV911, it won't really look that different from a taco style wing like I have now. I think it will look a lot more mean with the 997 GT3 wing. Here's a pic of my car.

Thanks for the input. I don't have any aero kit parts for sale yet but if I get the wing, I might sell my stock one.

I don't like the wing all by itself- Looks out of place.
+1 on needing the side skirts, front bumper and rims to tie it in.
