Hello All,

I am looking at buying my 1st porsche and would like some advice. I was looking for something for just around $60000. I have been looking at 2002 911 turbo, but I'm not sure this is what I want.

I really would like to find a non-modded car, but still fun. I would also like the option to do some modding if I feel like it.

Any help or suggestions would be great.

Welcome to 6speed, great bunch of guys here. If your looking for something to be fast, then 996 turbo it is. Get that puppy and mod mod mod

 

Get a TT. Might as well start near the top. As a previous posted indicated, the TT's are highly modable in the event you decide to do it.

 

60k TT all the way...Just saw 27 pages of them on Autotrader

 

Anyone care to comment on the tiptronic vs. manual?

 

I think you'll find the majority votes for the manual.
Especially on an enthusiast forum.

You can't go wrong with a TT, but don't be scared of one with a few mods. You will save money in the long run

 

so many out there for that price and not modded

 

I have my 03 C4S for sale 51K, w/extended warranty until 2010 or 60k. 6sp w/ NAV.
Car is in excellent shape never tracked. No mods except for a schnell cold air kit.
