Oh I know...its too difficult to turn 4 *****....For the street, there is no better system than the PSS9s, if you go for the track, go with JIC's....X73 is ok for the guy who doenst wanna make decisions on height or ride comfort, just decide for me...no thanks...I also can change my dampening based on my needs...when I am commuting on the freeway, I can set it nice and soft, when I hit the canyons, I can set it nice and firm....X73, its just stiff...all the time. Oh and I decide my ride height based on my car, 18's vs 19's, road conditions, etc...how I want MY car to look, not how some guy in Germany thinks it should be.
The PSS9s even at the most stiff settings are still too soft. When I said an upgrade to the suspension, I meant for the track and handling not for ride quality or adjustability.

Extremespeed is infamous around these parts
I've driven C4S's with both springs. I didn't notice a difference in ride between the two. The main problem with running your stock shocks, besides the fact that they are soft. You can bottom out you shocks on a big bump causing the seals in the shock to blow out or damage you upper strut plates/mounts. The ideal thing to do is to change over to some kind of coil-over setup. But, you can get away with just doing springs. I've seen it a bunch of times before with no problems. And if this car is you daily or weekend driver you probably won't see 130 mph very often.

Again, not true....Ask ANY PSS9 owner and ask them if its better handling than stock....ALL of them will tell you its a DRASTIC difference. Mine even cleared up that AWD oversteer. I have NEVER heard of one owner that said the stock suspension was better than PSS9.

After spending 3g to do it, I don't think any one would.

you mean, understeer?

Anyways, It's great that you love them! but after spending $800 Canadian to install just the springs. When my shocks do wear out from doing it all wrong, I will be doing X73. I don't care about adjusting the ride height nor softness/stiffness.

Both newport and jumper are partially right.

1. Jumper is in Canada and have the ROW suspension. ROW is so much better stock than the US version. The stock ride and handling would have been fine to start with.

2. PSS9 with all it adjustability is great if you know what you are doing. If not, you could get yourself into trouble.

3. X73 doesn't come with sways. Only M030 does. M030 is between stock and X73 in comfort, ride height, etc. Cost about $1200 and comes with sways. X73 comes with hard rubber engine mounts. Make sure you get the ROW version for the one you choose.

4. Driving on worn out springs could get very dangerous. Be careful.

I'm on X73 with PS Cup. Loving every minute of it.
