Check Engine Light... Error code P2096

Looking for some help!! My check engine light came on a few days ago . It's running normal at all speeds and at Idle. I took a read of the error code and it showing P2096. Anyone have experience with this type of error/issue?

Thanks, Joe

I took it in today and found one of my catalytic converters is bad. Does anyone know how long the cats are warranted?

You can get them replace at the dealer with no charge. I'm not sure but it has to do with Federal laws and the DOT. I had mind done 5 months ago and the dealer told me they will take care of the cost and I paid nothing.

usually on emissions related things like that as long as you're using stock cats the dealer replaces them under warranty. At least in Cali.

Yeah cool, I just got off the phone with the dealership and they will replace them at no cost if they are defective.

I have aftermarket heads and mufflers do you think they will give me a hard time about the stock cats with these mods?
