Evoms EVT-690R in a real world test - Alastaro Drag Strip Finland --- RESULTS
And GT700 as well! We're working on it, once the forthcoming snow is gone, I'm sure we'll get the scandinavian's fastest Porsches into one place and can do the same drill again.

Amazing stuff! ESu is always pushing the local Porsche community towards greater achievements. EVOMS has the power they advertise
On the other hand, perhaps the old Techart "996TT 530hp" kit we have here in Finland in some cars is something else (it has been claimed before as a 600hp kit but that's not the truth, maybe almost there...)

· Swain Intercooler coating
· Ceramic header coating
Plus new programm to ecu:
· EVT-690R Race Gas Software Option
And they also suggested to get stronger clutch rightaway:
· EVO / Sachs Stage 2 Clutch kit w/ aluminum flywheel
This aluminum flywheel is piece of art - very nice machinery and VERY nice outcome to the engines character!
THis was also included as an add-on:
· Handheld OBDII Switching Devise
Haven't needed it, ecu has been in the Race -mode ever after the installation...

After this, just add 100+ actane gas and approximately 5-8 % power increse is there. Evoms can probably clarify this more. I'm very happy with my 690R -set!

And as said before - the higher octane gasoline did wonders too. Bystanders reported that even the sound of the engine got crispier after switching to the racefuel! See below; EVT-610 did 100-200 km/h sprint in 7,2 seconds and with magic propellant same job was done in 6,8 seconds - thats 6 percent faster without mechanical modifications!!
As a matter of fact, we had a very thorough set of tuned 911 Turbos present:
964
100-200 km/h 7,6 s
993
100-200 km/h 6,6 s
996
100-200 km/h 6,3 s
997 EVT-610
100-200 km/h 7,2 s
997 EVT-690R
100-200 km/h 6,8 s
Needless to say - both 993 & 996 were tuned to the maxx... :-)

We checked the Driftbox and it seems the Ruf will give the 996TT some competiton in the 100-200 km/h range.
At least that's what the computer tells us but in reality it would be nice to see as well.

Maybe you could join this event next year? http://www.gtboard.com/
The Carrera GT reached ~290 km/h and the Ruf 996TT 323 km/h (speedo).
A Ruf Rt12 could probably join in as well.
The more the merrier (as long as one wins
)Ruf sets swedish record at the SS 500/1000m

Sorry for hi-jacking your thread
, but it would be very nice to meet up in 2008.The owner of this car speaks fluent finnish.
your stock 997TT times are a little bit strange to me.
I have a stock 997TT and got the following from my driftbox:
100km/h - 200km/h: 7,5

the 60-130 time is 8,86s, graph is at the 996TT thread
there was a decline of about 6 meter through the whole run, so that could have made the time a little bit better, but not 1,2 or more seconds.
Temp was 0 Celsius, which is pretty good for a turbo.
Yep! I do agree. The graph originated from Evoms and I had similar thoughts on Stock 997TT's performance.
Plan on checking this with friends manual Stock once the snow disappears...
