Question Please On 997 TT Cab Price??

Getting ready to pull the trigger on a new TT cab.
Not optioned over the top,, Paying M.S.R.P $149,000

Question is,,

How much do I stand to lose in a year on this car?
I don't think anyone here has a crystal ball, But any educated guesses would really help!!

With circumstances being the way they are I am forced to roll some negative equity in from my trade... Just worried about how much neg i will obtain from the TT Cab's depreciation on top of my present neg??

Is it safe to assume about a $25-$30k depreciation in the first year of this car??
Or is that rather high??

Thanks in advance...

Part of the fun of buying a car like a 997TT is the impulse involved in the buy. I just dropped by the dealer to check them out, they had the very one I wanted on the floor, it seemed like the right deal and I pulled the trigger.

I know what you are saying about depreciation. I traded in a Mercedes after less than a year once to upgrade to an AMG of the same model. Lost about 30% in just 8 months.

But when you see the car you really want, just go for it. Every day I drive my new 997TT I could not feel better. Maybe I am a materialistic person. But I just love it.

Just go for it!!

About 3 weeks ago, on the day I bought my 997TT - in Newport Beach, CA - there was a Guards Red 997TT Cab on the lot with a ton of great options. It had just arrived that day. There were two things I didn't like about it:

1) Tiptronic; and

2) $167,900.

Ouch.

For that price, I might just wait for a GT2. I don't much like a rag top anyway. But it is a beautiful car for those who want to spend the extra cash and don't mind the rag top look with the top up.

My neighbor just bought a Turbo Cab from Hoehn off the floor. I don't know about them being in short supply.

He gave up his incoming GT3RS for the car. I do not know options etc, but I have heard they are going to be asking $50K over.
