I did this on my X50 996 w/ no problems and was wondering if anyone has done this w/ the 997 turbo?

Yes someone here did it, and their rear brakes got completely fried. You cannot totally disable the stability/traction systems in the turbo so the car reads a huge imbalance in the front and rear wheel speeds and tries to slow the "spin" of the rear wheels. His braking system was ruined and IIRC he fought with PCNA to get it warrantied.

DON'T DO IT!!!

Yes, like eclou said, never do it - you also risk your central differential. One of the worst things you can do to a 997TT.

Scratch that idea, what about a 4 wheel dynojet?

My 996 turbo tried to jump off the dyno will the 997?

As long as you have the car properly strapped down then the car will stay in place.

It is best to disconnect the rear wheels and dyno the front only
