I suggest you guy buy two spare black ones for <$200/each. Put one on, and keep the other for when the first one gets too scufed up for you.

Then enjoy the stress-free knowledge that the part is disposable and can be changed in 15 minutes.

My $0.02

Think of them like a condom-pay to play...

Mine looks like a tootsie roll right now and have another ready to go on.

Dont know your parking situa but you can pull the front over a side walk type of area enough to start wrenching, unless you have a lift or ramps?

Paint shop that will match color would be the best. I have heard of some type of shop that will match most colors and place it in an aerosol can for small projects. Cant think of the company name though...

They need to use a special mixture on the paint to allow it to flex. I'd just sand it and paint it with some quality blk spray paint.
Plain blk plastic is so much better imo(in the real world).

Just have a few handy. I had a spare before I needed one. I am going to mangle the one that is on mine now before I put the new one on. I have a TA front and TA rear being painted as well. I hope to have them installed soon. I guess there is a reason to sometimes back in to a spot

Can someone explain how to change the front lip? I've got a spare and would rather DIY.

That sucks Bill, I overshot a couple of bump stops as well but luckily only scratched the bottom.

I believe it's just like the 996tt, two #20 torx screws inside the wheelwell, then pull it out of the tabs. Takes 10 minutes if you're slow, really easy.

It's pretty straightforward from what I hear. HUMMM 3 probably can give you some tips so send him a PM for tips. He took his off once already.

I remember the chin spoiler on my Techart front end that scraped all the time. That was a different story, as it was carbon and cost $1200 to replace. I still have a spare new one here in the garage too.

Guess everyone is having the same problem....

Last week I pulled out of the gas station and I was trying to get on the road sideways until some bimbo cuts in front of me. Causing me to walk the plank..lol almost str8 into the road. Worst sound I have ever heard, luckily only the bottom/edges. Took a fine grade sand paper & made it look like new(kinda).
