What's the best discounts on a 997 Turbo Cab?

I'm trying to get an idea where the market is now.

Looking for a Black/Black six speed.

Thanks.

Somebody recently posted $5000 off MSRP on one of the boards. I got $4000 off mine.

$4K off msrp? is that for coupe or Cab? I am about to order an April built turbo cab at msrp. Is Arctic silver much different than GT silver? How do you like the phone module? Any other MUST have option?

laC2s,

My $4k off was on a cab. It is GT Silver/black. My 996 TT cab was Artic Silver/black. The GT silver is a much richer color. I love it. The 997 is a completely different animal than the 996 turbo!

How did you manage that? I'm about to order a 997TT cab with April build date. Been looking at the GT silver; I've had many silver cars and getting a bit bored but love how easy it is to maintain. Did you get it with a clear bra as well?

I have bought other cars from them and they treat me pretty well. I am in the midwest where the demand is lower than some other areas, so they were a little more willing to deal. The silver is very easy to keep clean. The GT silver has much more depth than Artic sliver. Silver shows all of the vents and other details very well. Black looks great when it is clean, but most of the vents disappear visually with the dark colors.

GT Silver all the way! I have a GT Silver/Black, stunning. The GT Silver is special, whereas the Artic is sort of run of the mill. Spend the extra $ and go with GT.

Rebate? What rebate? I don't think I recall ever seeing one offered by Porsche for the Turbo.
