Anyone know how to remove the side vent cover? Thanks in advance.

Thanks! That is for the 996 T. Could be the same, but I am worried about snapping something if I pull on it too hard.

I think it just snaps in/out. When I had a dentless guy take a dent out he accessed it through the vent, had it on/off in seconds.

This is an old thread, but I revived it to post a picture if anyone needs a reference in the future.

The side vent is held by 5 clips.

In addition, there are two guides toward the wheel well.

The vent is removed by pulling/prying the vent away from the car, then forward toward the door. Many people use painters tape, and a plastic wedge along the red arrows.

Red arrows show where to pry, the blue arrows are the guides. Do not pull away from the car by the guides - they will break. Pull the vent away from the car by the red arrows.
