PSS10 or GIAC?
Doug,
Believe me, I did my share of research before jumping the gun. Like you said, this isn't something you'd want to mess around with if you don't mind what you're doing. I do think that this isn't for everyone. Only for those who really want to improve the TT. I'm still amazed even to this day just how much of an improvement there has been since I made the jump.

I am very pleased with my PPS Damptronics. Like Jason I think you can get more from the Bilsteins on the roads than without them. The stability and the more planted feel was worth the price of admission as well as the PASM in Sport Mode being tolerable compared to stock.
Different strokes for different folks and in the end we all share the same enthusiasm for our cars on track or off.
In the last 6 cars I have owned there hasn't been one without suspension mods. The Cayenne S I just picked up will be the first because it has AIR Suspension. But I will lower it
So that counts as a suspension mod

I do track the car actually.. My turbo is rarely used because i only use the turbo for track. I have been tracking since i was 14 so it has been 6 years now. Btw, another question, Is the Sway bars make alot of difference to the TT on the track?
I can't comment on whether the H&R sways would make a big difference or not since I got everything done all at once. I can tell you that if you plan to track your Turbo then you'd be well advised to consider getting the H&R sways + Tarett droplinks.
I had a chance to look under a 997 Cup car recently and their sway bars are even bigger than the H&R sways!

Jason & Alpine 997 (and anybody else with experience with these suspension changes) - How have the damptronics affected the normal, non-spirited driving aspect of your cars. While I think I drive in a fairly spirited manner a lot of the time, I also spend a lot of time driving with my wife in a fairly sedate manner. I know I'm "whippped" but my wife doesn't like a really rough ride. Thanks for your input.

Ever since I put the damptronics on, the car as a whole has felt much more compliant. The new coilovers do a better job of soaking up the bumps and irregularities on the road.
Thanks for the input. Between that beautiful steering wheel of yours and your endorsement, along with eclou's, of the damptronics, you're costing me a lot of $$$$. Where is the best place to order the wheel?
I should add that the suspension is compliant enough to be left in sport mode all the time too. I certainly couldn't do that before.
Seeing that you're in the Pittsburgh area you might want to contact Mark at CEC motors (www.cecwheels.com) to find a local Techart reseller in your area. Either that or go through Lee at Wheel Experts. I believe that he probably can get you one. If you want one exactly like mine, makes sure you're very specific about it. Mine is Type 1, no techart logo, natural grey, with carbon fiber with a smooth shiny clearcoat finish, leather everywhere and oem grey stitching. If you have the multifunctional steering wheel then you want the type 2 version instead.
As for me costing you $$$, well.....that's the fun part, right?

I will contact Mark on Monday (ok to use your name?). Does the carbon fiber with a smooth shiny clearcoat finish match the factory carbon fiber as I have some factory carbon in the car?
"As for me costing you $$$, well.....that's the fun part, right?" Exactly

It is very compliant and in non-sport it is perfect for around town. But I go around town in Sport Mode as well.
You will not regret the decision!
Hope to see them on soon.
Yep, Techart offers two types of finish, clearcoat smooth or matte. The former (clearcoat smooth) matches the OEM CF trim pieces perfectly.
