No white... just silver.....

I have been on the eternal hunt for a TT, specifically white with black interior or tan. I have been offered a screaming deal on an arctic silver 2008 with sport chrono, lsd, mats, rear wiper, and multi wheel that is ready for delivery now... I really want white but damn the silver looks good and the price is right. Ohhhhhh, I am so confused. Show me some silver cars for motivation or convince me white is worth the wait. The options arent that important since it has the only 2 that really matter to me, sport chrono and lsd. I plan to mod the car so I will do my own carbon and goodies, as well as some major tuning. Damn OCD.........

Arctic Silver was my second choice but I'm so glad I went with it.

arctic silver was my probably my 3rd choice or so - its nice, but under certain lighting looks boring and dull and you can never make it shine like a black car or white car can... if i were you... i'd wait

Go for silver...White seems to be the color of the moment....silver is a true classic, especially for Porsches
Easier to keep clean too

Get the Silver, a classic Porsche color. Besides White can be very hard to keep clean on a daily basis.

Silver is classic, why do you think Porsche uses silver cars in all its brochures?

Agree, silver is an all time classic on a 911. It's the stainless steel Rolex of cars. Always appropriate and always classy.

It's a hard choice. When I ordered mine I could not make up my mind between white and AS and flipped back and forth a couple of times. I ended up going with AS and I have no regrets. I've had white, black, blue, red in the past and this is my first silver. Silver shows the lines of the car better than most colors, it's classic, easy to maintain, and ages very well. I really like GT Silver and Cobalt Blue too but not enough to pay the difference. AS really looks good with the big yellow PCCBs.

What is the "screaming" deal the offered you? Granted, it is a classic and beautiful color - don't let us convince you...

White the new Black err umm Silver

Either way you go it will be great! But if you are having any reservations you will be reminded of that reservation when a White Turbo passes by. You have to be 110% on your decision unless you can stomach lossing 10K(not including taxes) or so to switch colors.

Good luck with your decision.

And I must say the GT Silver with GT3 Rims looks great!

I *LOVE* that first shot. Looks good already but just curious if you have the same shot with whole front of the car in the picture?
