Hello from Barcelona.
Is really impressive the knowledge you can find here, the experiences and the cars shown... My name is Xavier, from Barcelona, Spain, and I own a MY07-997TT, although I consider buying a 997GT2 looking for more sensations.

hahahhaa... You have told me "You love here", so: thank you, sweetheart!
In 20 days I'll be in your great city, unluckily no airway company allowed me to load my lovely car, so I will be the king of Lincoln's on those 10 days!

It's a fantastic city. I'm in Istanbul now and will be here for 2 years. It's great here but nothing likes NYC.
I have been thinking to take a trip to Barcelona for about a year, but couldn't have a chance..yet I learned some spanish a while ago, but I didn't have a chance to practice it since I moved here, so it would be good for me
Your car looks great! I have a white one on order, will be here in April. Do you have any mods?

Actually, no mods.
I'm deciding to buy a GT2 because I think is better for a very intense use, in track days or civil roads, so I donot want to waste an euro on this unit, just sold it as it is...

I will be in Barcelona in April, it's easily my favourite city, wonderful place.
One thing I would love to know Ulises, does everybody own a small, second car? Because you never seem to see nice cars around the city and every single car you do see has bumper damage! I hired a little Seat last time I was out there and there are some very tight lanes around the city. Passing a bus on the diagonal can be pretty scary!!

Hehehehe... Catalan people try to enjoy their cars with some discretion, although if you stay some time in Bonanova (at the very north of the city) you'll see lots of porsche.
The most usual is to have some other vehicles, and for our city, the best is the burgman motorbike's style.
In Spain people are criminalizing high-performance-car owners, government justifies lots of transit deaths because of speed, so donot run too fast or you'll be very bad seen by neighbours or policemen.
In april, the most important porsche non-official owner's club, SoloPorsche, will have their annual meeting in Valencia, very close to barcelona. Perhaps you might like to come.
