Triptronic Transmission Upgrades

hey does anyone know about triptronic transmission upgrades for the porsche 997 turbo. With mine i can seem to get a high enough rpm on my launch with a brake stand to launch it fully. Here is a vid in on the launch i did, only getting 2,500 rpm when my foot is to the floor when i need around somthing like 4,500rpm.

What you are looking for is a higher stall torque converter.

did he say 2.5? What is he refering to? The video doesnt really help it needs to be pointing at your RPM and odometer.

Do you have your sport button on and your pasm off?

sorry its when i brake stand the car i put my foot to the floor while the brake is on and my revs only go up to 2,500rpm max but i need to do somthing with the transmission to allow me to rev the engine up higher so i can get a better launch. Do you have any ideas what i can do to the transmission to allow this to happen

I know what your talking about as I have experienced this situation. If you continue to floor the accelerator (sport button on, tranny in auto mode, but in 1st gear) the revs will continue to rise, albeit fairly slowly (or at least it "seems" slowly). Your/our problem is timing this powerbraking/torquebraking w/o burning out the auto clutch. IMHO it is is very difficult vs. a stoplight to time your brake release. I have done this timing/balancing act 2 times with success, where at about 4000 plus rpm I started to get some actual wheelspin (at the stoplight). Both times I smoked my adversaries (older Z06 Vette and newer Shelby GT500). My recommendation is to literally let the revs rise. If your revs will not rise past 2500 rpm, even after holding down the brake and flooring the gas for several seconds, then you may have a problem (to which I don't have answer).

My wifes is the same... whats your milage? I'm thinking maybe the ECU doesn't let you do it until it's broken in (2K miles?).
