09 Gets the facelift

Does anyone know for certain if the face lift is coming for 09? What exactly is being "updated" other than the LED tails and 500hp stock?

Porsche will be giving the Carreras the face lift, DFI and PDK. They will not be changing the turbo until 2010. They will not be making GT3s or GT2s for 2009 says PNCA.

With the 08 997TT Cab not even a year old, it would be really unusual that they will be updating anything on the TT just yet. Standard 997's versions have been out for 3-4 years and that can easily justify a face lift.

No, the 'engine block' will not be changed. lol Price increase? Most certainly; but it'll probably be about 1% considering the US Dollar. Maybe 1.5%.

There will be a larger price increase next year than previous years. Porsche is telling us since there is a body change, large jump in HP, and the new tranny there might be up to a 5% increase in prices for 2009.

Interesting. I heard less. Regardless; we'll ALL find out sooner or later. I for one am in no hurry to see it.
