I was at my dealer today discussing my new TT Cab that is currently on the water. This car is replacing the TT Cab I bought from the dealership in September. I specifically asked about the status of '09 Turbos. He insisted there will be none. Obviously, he has no reason to BS me as my car is due by the end of April and he's not trying to sell me a late '08 allocation.

Personally, I find it hard to believe this is true. Such a move would be so un-Porsche like as the two models have only been around for 1 model year and 2 model years. If it is true, it certainly would lessen the huge depreciation hit we all face when selling, especially those of us that are addicted to "Exclusive" options!

 

Maybe they will stall the release date of the '09 a few months...even going into Jan/Feb and make them 2010 models. Yeah....sure. Only time will tell though.

 

No '09 Turbos? Porsche has suddenly become allergic to money? Not likely!
