I propose.....

An instant locking of or deleting of all new threads about the GT-R in comparison to the 997TT, with a subsequent un-banning of said threads in two months when the hype dies down.

I am a GT-R fan, but christ, this is a P-car forum, and the GT-R fanboys are taking up all the bandwidth....

I'd go one step further. How about moving all of the discussion of the GT-R to the Concept Cars forum here.

I proposed a Japanese car forum to a couple of the mods but haven't heard anything. I think it would be a good idea. Similar to the American car forum.

I propose adding the GT-R to a TOOOOO many switches and electronic do-dads forum. Nissan should have stopped when they were ahead.

That still wouldnt stop the threads from popping up in the 997 TT forum, GT2/GT3/CGT Forum and now the 996 TT forum.

That was pretty funny.

But I second that all the GT-R threads AT LEAST be merged into one.

Controllit will handle it like he's been punting fanboys left and right.

I was thinking that a debate section might be an interesting addition with rotating popular topics.

Guys, you don't have to click on the GT-R threads.....

If there is a "stealth" GT-R flame thread, the mods should rename it to better disclose the nature of the thread.

I love my 997TT, but would buy a GT-R blind right now if I could get for MSRP. I think some of the comparison threads are actually interesting.

Actually if you really think about it, we should be flattered that Nissan and everyone else wants to even compare the GT-R to the 997TT. Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery after all. Imitate nothing less than the very best, right folks?

I personally am sick of it but I try to look at the upside as all those folks continually post those GT-R threads. They can't help it, it's a DISEASE for which there's no cure. Oh wait, there's a cure...we can call it, the 997TT! It's still the best car around!!!

The problem is none of these people coming in are owners. They are all armchair racers that just want to come in and stir up ****. I agree, bring the threads back when people start taking deliveries and actually driving them, themselves.

But that would eliminate 99% of the fanboys, because they still wouldnt have any personal experience.

Unless we are going to count Grand Turismo.
