I believe the size/shape of the new system with wider touch screen will not fit the same stack as the existing 997, so I would not get your hopes up of a retrofit just yet.

It looks like it would fit. They took away the stupid number pad since it will be touch screen and widened the screen. Would be nice to retrofit and make me happier : )

I wonder if the retro-fit would be difficult, maybe I should hold off on getting an ipod/sirius hookup till the 09's come out. Or will it be too much of a hassle and expensive?
