ok..ive tried the search function..and its not agreeing with me...how do you know if your 997 came equipped with the chrono package...reason im askin is ive been lookin at a couple o turbos on the ads..and some of them state it, and some of them dont...is there a specific way to tell...sorry for the noob question, still tryin to learn more about this ride..

 

Cars equipped with sport chrono will have a clock looking thing on the dash. Here is a picture.

So when it has that chrono on the dash its always sport chrono , its a cheap option right?

 

The option is $1,920 for 2008 Twin Turbos. Less expensive on the standard 911's because it does much less on the standard cars. This option allows the overboost function to work. Basicly you get max 505 lbs. tq vs 460. It does many other things like bring the horsepower curve on faster starting at around 2,000 rpm rounding off at 5,000 rpm, it also retards PSM giving you a more free feeling with the handling. Out of all the options available for the Turbo and wow is there a lot. This is the one you need most.
