Gt2 Front Bumper 997 Turbo

Does any one know whether the new GT2 front end will fit on a 997 turbo without modifications?

Will not work...more work than it is worth. Not a direct fit.

Can you elaborate? I'd figure you loose the fog light hardware, maybe reroute some plumbing for the center vent. Does 997 TT also have center radiators? If not, then it'll just be an open vent vs. GT2.

Other than that, why wouldn't the bumper fit unless the GT2 is wider in the front?

Why doesnt someone attempt it and see whats all needed for the conversion? It shouldnt be that tough for someone with auto skills.

Rami has done it on his Cab. However it is not a direct fit, new radiators and plumbing is also needed I believe.

That is correct - I heard that about Rami's car. It wasn't an easy job.

We have replica GT2 bumpers for the front and rear and a GT2 rear wing for the 997 turbo. I just got my rear wing and going to paint this week. Also the stock side skirts fit, see Atomic80 car.

Hi I've had this done and its not just a bolt-on.

There are various parts required including new radiators.

The boot lid and wing are easier, although their are some wiring considerations otherwise the PCM throws an error as it cant lift the old turbo wing.

BTW: The car is black. Its just been wrapped for a work project. Seems to be causing lots of debate, you either love it or hate it.

What I think Vivid means is that see Atomic80's car for the GT2 sideskits(OEM) since they are a direct bolt-on. I do not think he has the GT2 front and rear yet. I have had this installed(GT2 Sideskirts) a while back.

I know he was looking into it at one time but the expense was stupid for the OEM conversion.

If you have a GT2 Front/Rear we would like to see the unpainted parts. Is it on your website? Anyone have it installed yet?

The front bumper they have pulled it looks like, you can see some on Ebay though.

The rear wing is this - http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/m...7-p-53219.html

Wink GT2 Rear Wing / Turbo AeroKit

The dealer will have to delete this mode if you install either one ( raise spoiler 80 mph )

Same problem if you on install the factory aerokit rear decklid assy on a 997TT
