360 FORGED 997TT vs ASR ENGINEERING GTR!

Here it is guys - finally!
We tried to run the 997 as stock as possible - low boost, no meth, and no NOS vs ASR's brand new GTR. Enjoy!

Basically the car is running on low boost, exhaust, intake and ECU.
The GTR is surprisingly fast though, I don't think a stock 997tt would do too well against it - it would be close though.

Exhaust, intake, and ECU is a big jump over a stock TT.

Can we get some footage of you guys running from a dead stop?

Multiple tuners already have kits out making over 550 to the wheels, including HKS. The only thing holding them back right now is the tranny.

I try not to launch my Turbo from the hole, last time I did it my car spent 3 weeks at ASR waiting for new axles...It's got a very strong race clutch, so if there's no clutch slip something else has to give. I'm saving the drivetrain for track runs only - shooting for mid to low 10's by end of year.

We did it once, but I didn't launch my car, just eased it out - the GTR pulled about 3 cars on me right away and took me until about 100 mph to catch up.

Not sure how much power as we haven't dynoe'd it yet. Abid estimates around 650 whp. The car at the time of the video had ASR Engineering ECU, exhaust, intake, and NOS setup with 100 shot. The car now has Methanol Injection (which I highly recommend) 125 shot NOS, and new axles

I' hoping for some mid 10 second passes as is - hopefully when Abid makes time for me we can get the car taken apart for Turbo upgrade, intercoolers, etc.

I have an 09 TT 6 speed on order and will probably have delivery in November.. Just wondering what method should be used to get a fast launch without killing the tranny..?
